Well since I posted this, I took an additional history and philosophy class to satisfy AVC's pre-req requirements. I also had the Nursing Counselor update my Ed Plan. I have not talked to anyone at AVC in months and last I was told, was that I had to wait till mid April when letters are mailed. Last I was told that I will more than likely start this summer but who knows till they get their paperwork together since they go by USPS mail, this will take a while. Do you know your number? I hate the wait but I don't think they are getting back to anyone right now.
I want to say that was like Jan or so. I am sure my number has gone up a little cause I had everything done. They even commented that I took the TEAS VI on my own and did good the 1st attempt, so I would probably start this summer but we shall see. I am scared not knowing but all I can do is pray and wait.

Hi....I actually spoke with someone in the nursing office today! I am told that my # is the same and letters will be sent out sometime this month. Who knows where this leaves me. So, just keep a lookout for your acceptance letter ?

Hello...just wanting to start a thread to see if anyone has any info they can provide about Antelope Valley Community College's LVN to RN bridge program? Little about me...I was a faithful COC student for 5 years and when I applied to the program, I got a ridiculous lame denial. I am super disappointed but oh well, so I applied to AVC in March of this year. I called the Nursing Office and was told that I am #53 on the waitlist. Not sure what that means. Do I get ready for fall 2018? or assume it will be sometime in 2019. From what I gather, I need to call them weekly for waitlist # updates to see if I have moved up but I am curious on what others can share about their experience. By the way, I paid to take the TEAS VI and passed successfully 1st attempt. My pre-reqs are all done but 2 (philosophy and a history class) that I plan to take online this summer. Any advice given is appreciated...thank you
