forgot to mention - if you get you're a&P's done before the start of classes, you don't have to take the LVN a&p class... one less class with h.w. to worry about during the first semester.
also - if you can take your sciences during the summer at TCC, a lot of friends have told me it's insane, but it's abreviated and they'd much rather do it that way than the semester-long version.
good luck in your endeavors!
I dont know about doing a fast paced summer session with a&p, that will certainly drive me insane..but i might just be crazy and do it to see how it goes!
If i take the a&p's in the summer and microbio in the fall then i might as well just apply for the adn/rn program at tcc in stead of weatherfords lvn program.
I'm still going to weatherford tomorrow and turn in my transcripts and take the compass and at least see if i get in, it doesnt start till august and in the mean time i'll see about doing the a&p in the summer
Thanks for wishing me luck!!

Hey everyone, hope this is the right spot for this..
I am currently checking out Weatherford for their LVN Program and they have a compass test you have to take. I was wondering since i've already had college algebra, then do i have to take this test. It seems like its just a placement test to see where you are in math...I will call the school on Monday but wanted to know if anyone knew about the compass test. If i can get out of it, it would be nice..lol
I actually only have 3 more science classes to finish before i can apply to an RN Program, I have every class completed except a&PI , a&pII and microbiology but i figured if i go for my LVN, then work for awhile, and then bridge to RN it will be quicker than me taking one science class for the next 3 semesters, then going for RN. I dare not take more than one science at a time, i would die..:chuckle
i'm currently at TCC, taking chemistry and have a B so far..
If you can answer about the Compass Test, i would appreciate it....thanks!!
