LVN Pay in San Jose Ca Area

Im an LVN with 6 mo experience. Im thinking on moving to the Northern California area. Im specifically looking for a job in or near the city of San jose because thats where I will be living. Does anyone on the forum work in that city? I was hoping for some tips on where seek employment and what to expect in wages. What is the low and high pay rate and what facilities would i have the best chances of obtaining a job?

I'm in the East Bay (about 30 min from San Jose) and quite a few of my classmates who work as CNAs have said the LVNs at their facilities make $25-26/hr.

I don't know what SF pays. There's a methadone clinic there that runs employment ads occasionally that pays something like $26-27/hr. You'd be looking at close to an hour commuting to SF but people do it.
