So, what do you all think about a lvn working as a caregiver? Is it something I should not resort to or will that be something that will actually help on my resume with landing a lvn job?

Caregiving is paid healthcare experience, but it is not licensed nursing experience. If you need the money now, I would go ahead and work as a caregiver for the time being. I assume you are in California, which has a horrid LVN job market right now. Good luck to you.
