Hi everyone!

I just recently passed my boards and wanted to go back to school and work at the same time. I was wondering if anyone knows a good lvn to bsn program thats accredited in san diego. I still have a lot of my prereqs left and I know nursing schools arent cheap but I'm looking for a school thats not going to cause me $35,000+. Also, what do you guys think about online classes? Or will going for my adn than my bsn afterward will save me money? Thanks everyone!

Hi I know at National University its about 29,000. I went in a couple days ago for some information on the LVN-BSN program and they give you guideline as to what prereq's you need and where you can take them that are transferable. Where did you get your LVN at? I'm looking for a good LVN program thats cheap, I'm considering Grossmont ROP.

Take a look at the program starting up at WGU. Their website is http://www.wgu.edu. They will be having clinicals at five different hospitals in southern CA. You can find out if they have plans to start up near you. Another avenue is the Indiana State University LVN to BSN program. You will have to set up your own clinical and preceptor if no one has already got an agreement going with a facility near you. But don't go through The College Network if you can help it. You can do this program without the added expense. Another program is the University of Oklahoma accelerated BSN program. I know they have a clinical site in Glendale. Don't know if they are operating in San Diego yet. Good luck finding a good program.

Just noticed OP was in 2007. Hope the OP found a program.
