There has been much written about the ISU distant learning program and their preceptor, proctor requirements. Quickly, no, they will find your clinnical location. If you have a site that qualifies for a clinical and the site will allow you to do your clinical there and the preceptor has the appropriate licenses, then go for it. Otherwise, you will take your clinicals where they assign your or where ISU has contracts. I suggest you read the ISU DL website posts, it may be helpfu.

I am planning to enter the ISU online LVN to BSN, RN. I have a concern with clinicals. Do we have to find our clinical site and preceptor on our own or does the progrom do it for us. Can anybody help me.:)
