Hi, I am starting a group for the Lucile Packard New Grad Application for March 2022 Start!

Has anyone encountered errors/ difficulty with adding your licensing on your application? Every time I attempt to, it brings me to an Oracle page.

I remember there being at least one verbal offer for acute care, does anyone know how many spots they’re opening within acute care?

They told me they have 5 positions open! Hopefully we’ll hear back soon ??

@kenzie1396 hoping for news soon too! just curious- which unit within acute care has 5 positions open?

my friend heard back from acute care today!

Has anyone received a WRITTEN offer? Any anyone else hear back from acute care? If so, from HR or from the unit?

Specializes in New Graduate RN.

This is not related to acute care, but I did receive a call & written offer letter from a recruiter (not DL) on 2/7 for critical care. From talking to the recruiter, it sounded like she was extra help for DL. It seems like they are really backed up right now, so that could be a reason for the long wait. Hang in there!

Hi guys! I'm kinda freaking out about something so if anyone knows the answer, please let me know. So on the qualification it says "no RN experience". However I started another new grad program for literally 2 weeks in which I have only completed online modules and have not gone it person. Then I quit after 2 weeks because of a personal emergency. Do you think this would disqualify me...

Hey there! A couple questions:

- did you receive any payment during that time?

- sounds like it was virtual - were you on the floor at all?

Likely the best thing to do if you received an offer from LPCH is call DL and leave a message. It sounds like extenuating circumstances and especially if you weren’t paid I think you should be fine.

You may want to talk to DL. They do a background check on you and I don’t know if this would show up or not in your previous employment check. I don’t know if they can see any job you had that you used your RN number with. Did you get a paycheck from that hospital?

Has anyone heard anything from critical or acute care this week?

As far as offers? For critical care… I was given a verbal offer last Friday and received my official written offer this past Monday evening.

I’ve only received a verbal offer and am waiting for my official written offer. Is there a facebook group started for those who have accepted offers yet? Super pumped to meet everyone ?

Was it for critical care?
