I am currently a Liberty U student. Graduating Dec. 12th. I have been offered a job in Feb at Vanderbilt Med in Nashville, TN. My question is this. I am a NY resident (because of financial aid and where my mom lived I kept my residency there) I actually have lived long enough in VA with a VA address to have residency there, but never changed my residency because I wasn't working, just going to college. IF I want to take my NCLEX in VA and then work in TN (both compact states) (NY IS NOT) Do I have to become a VA resident before I can work in TN or is taking my NCLEX in VA enough and I'd just have it endorsed when I move to TN and become a resident? My driver's license and everything is still NY. HELP.
Thank you.

Until you have graduated and show a residential address for VA and have a license can you use the compact license. Sure someone else will be able to explain it clearer
