Hi everybody,
Im new to this site and could really use some advice. Im starting LSU traditional BSN program. Was wondering if anyone has any advice about what to expect and what I should do to prepare. Also if anyone is actually a student at LSU that would help or if they are starting in the Fall as well.
Hey lsufan I applied for housing and I received an email about a week ago and they said I should hear back at the end of the month for availability. The email was confirming that they have processed my application. Does anyone know how many people get accepted? Also how many people applied to the program? When are we suppose to get letters? If anyone knows anything please respond I'd appreciate it.
astros, yea I received that email after they received my application too. I talked to a lady at the housing office and she said to expect a call or email about reservatations next week on either the 28th or 29th. She said if you do not receive an email by the 29th to contact them immediatly because its probally a mistake. She also said that there are a lot of rooms in Stanislaus available but not so many in the residence hall or apartments. I toured the housing facilities a few weeks ago and I would much rather Stanislaus to either of them even tho its more expensive. I would also prefer the residence hall dorm to the apartments. I think they dont put pictures of the residence hall and the apartments online for a reason lol! The residence halls are not too too bad but I dont think I can take the apts. Thats just my opinion though, I suggest anyone planning on living on campus to take a tour of their housing before signing a lease just to make sure that they will be comfortable. And also I spoke with an advisor and she said that 138 people were interviewed and around 100 people will be accepted. So thats not too bad. We all have a pretty good chance, huh? At my interview an advisor also told me that we should hear back from them mid November at the latest. So I'm gonna start stalking the mailman after halloween. It's only three weeks but mid November feels like a year away!!

A current student said she got her letter on Halloween! I'm stalking now!
Also, and this is directed to everyone, are you registering at your current school just in case you don't get in?

I just started thinking about doing that this weekend-- but I do not want to put a negative jinx on myself just yet

Hi guys I'm new to this site I heard about it from a friend. This waiting process since the interview has been killer!! I think my interview went very well and it was extremely laid back so now I'm just waiting. I'm kind of nervous, though, because I only have 6 lsu prerequisite hours and I know they take preference over people who have more lsu hours. My gpa and hesi score were pretty good but im still nervous that someone with more hours has the same scores that I do.
But I was wondering if anyone has applied for housing and if they have been contacted yet about being able to put down a deposit.
