I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right area, but I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out scope of practice in MN.
LPN's in MN, what are you not allowed to do as far as things like assessing, hanging blood, pushing IV meds ect?

Your state's Board of Nursing should be very helpful with this question. There is a lot of valuable information on the website regarding what's allowed and what is not allowed regarding your scope of practice.

Seriously, if you have a specific question regarding LPN practice in MN, the most accurate answer would be from the BON themselves. Drop them a call/e-mail and ask.
Moving this to the MN Nursing Forum as well. Best of luck!

It's a bit of a tricky question since the Nurse Practice Act in MN is in the process of undergoing a change in language specifying exactly what LPNs can do! The MN BON would definitely have the best info!
