LPN TO RN

Hi! I have a question about going from

LPN to RN. My husband went through a nursing program and got his associates degree. He did not pass his RN exam 2 times but he passed the LPN exam. He has been working as a LPN for 3 years and now wants to get his RN. Does he have to go back through the program again or can he just take a bridge course to go from LPN to RN? Also, is there a course online or does he have to go back to school? He really doesn't have time to go back to school as he works nights and we really need his income.

I took a one year bridge course. It was very intense, but well worth it. I haven't taken boards yet, but take comfort in knowing I have learned so much in the past year.

Check the Community colleges. I was able to go to school and work full time. I was tired all the time, but I am still alive! You just have to be creative!
