LPN salary

Can anyone tell me what the average starting salary is for the new LPN graduates in Phoenix? I know that most hospitals do not hire LPNs and they usually work in nursing homes and I was just wondering what the pay is. Also, do they have any shift differentials and OT?

One more thing, is it hard to find a job as LPN?

The average starting pay is between $18 and $24 and hour. This greatly depends on where you work. LTC will be more. You can make up to $26 and hr for nights and then when overtime is available (which it is alot) Im not sure if it's double or time and 1/2. I can ask my friend. She gets lots of OT. Also you can work double weekends...2 days sat/sun. 16 hours each day and you'll get paid for 40 hours. It's not hard to find a job. you can work staff or pool as well. Then you can always work registry.
