lpn to rn transition course for ccac summer 2011

Hi I am a newly graduated lpn and was excepted into lpn to rn transition course at ccac has anyone done this course and if so can you tell mewhat to exspect and any tips or suggestions would be appeciated. :uhoh3:

Does anyone know if we have to have all are sciences done to start NRN 200 cause my teacher gave me a 69.6 so I have to take A&P over but I got in the class. Im not sure what to do now

I think you can take it with the other nsg. classes, but just check with a advisor.

OK I cant get a hold of anyone about this A&P class. But I did get the course syllabus and outline in the mail today. I hope someone will call me back. I really think I can take A&P II this summer. I hope so. Im registered for both classes and no one said anything!! So we just have to wear White scrubs and are clinical's are at AGH.

yep,just wear white don't know what to exspect for clinicals. the syllabus looks really involved but it could be just me because just being a newly graduated lpn with no exsperience. Don't know what TW stands for regarding the clinicals.

The TW stands for Tuesday and Wednesday. Thoses are the days we have clinicals.

Does anyone know about the med surg book we need? The papers we got in the mail said get the med surg book you will use at your campus. I don’t know what campus I will be at!!

I know we have to have the one for allegheny but i am in the same boat i don't know where i will be either. I might call tuesday to find out for sure.

I was just looking over the course plan and it says monday 6/6 we dont have to be in till 1 pm!!! I'm I reading that right?

I seen that too,I'm going to call about that, has to be a typo.

I called and they said that they got alot of calls on that and if it says 1pm then it is 1 pm.

Ok thanks, still need to get my books this will give me time on Monday since they are closed Saturday and only opened til 4 thru the week.
