LPN to RN

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I've applied to a nursing school for next year, but I've been hearing positive's and negative's about getting into a school. I was wondering if I should take the LPN to RN route. Thank you for any feedback. I appreciate it very much.:heartbeat

I am choosing to go LPN and then take a LPN to RN bridge program after. I have a few reasons... I have 3 kids, I currently work full time, and I am not able to go too long without working. I figure that since the LPN program is shorter, I can get through that, HOPEFULLY find a job, start working, and then start doing my additional pre-reqs for the bridge. Also, at my school it is MUCH easier to get into the LPN program right now because my school just brought it back and most people were preparing for the RN program. Good luck in your decision :)
