LPN to RN program at CCBC

Anyone out there applied to CCBC LPN to RN program and was succussful?

I am sending my application off for the LPN to RN program at CCBC. Did you ever move forward with applying.

Hey! I just sent my application in today. I am nervous. This is the only school I am applying to and the advisor told me it can be very competitive. Good Luck to you! Hopefully others applying will find this post and we can all stress together!

This is also the only school I am applying to. There isn't any feedback from the LPN To RN program at CCBC I was trying to get some insight on how their program differs. I know there is only 25 seats for this program but that's about it. Anyways good luck to you as well hope to meet you in the program.

I spoke with Gwen Jones today..she was very helpful. I am concerned because my science GPA is low, I took those classes 15+ years ago (young and just wanted to get them done). Now, I wish I had done better. Also, I am not a Baltimore County Resident and I heard they take them first. She did tell me that having advanced placement on the TEAS exam will help. This is going to be a loooooong 6-8 weeks.

Sounds like we are in the same boat, I don't live in Baltimore county either my gpa is somewhere in the middle because of classes I took years ago but hopefully my years of experience and my teas test will be helpful .. I'm sure we will both be checking our emails everyday.

Hey have you received any updates on your application ? The CAS system emailed saying the verified my application and transcript. Do you know how we will be notified?

Hey...no I have not received anything yet. When I spoke with Gwen last month, she said it takes 6-8 weeks to process that applications. We won't hear anything until mid - end of July. Ugh...I hate this wait!! Also, we are going to be informed by email. We will have an email sent to us and if we are accepted, we pay right away to hold our seat. I am already tired of waiting....and we have at least a month left.

I got emails saying my application was verified and so was my transcripts and then on my shp it says decision made but I haven't received any type of email. Guess I will just wait till July.

WHere did you see that it says decision made? I dont see that on mine. The last email I received from them was 6/3 and it just said that my application was complete, and decision will be made in 6-8 weeks

Well I got the notification that my application was completely verified and under review. So its been a month now. Hopefully we will hear something by the end of the month.
