Nursing Students LPN-RN

Published

Hello.I'm an asian nurse who is working with OPT visa here and I'm thinking about going back to school to get BSN.Then,I have a question.Does anybody know which school have LPN-BSN(RN) bridge program in or around SanFrancisco.I wanna apply for fall semister,so Please give me some advise. Thank you.

Unfortunately, none around San Francisco unless you want to go to private school. If yes, Dominican College in

San Rafael and UOP (University of Phoenix) in Modesto.

Good luck.

Thank you for your advise, trolldoll. If I'm RN and wanna take RN-BSN,it's gonna be easier? In that case, is there any university in or around SanFrancisco? Please give me some advise again. Thank you.

If you are a RN and want to get your BSN, you can tried SFSU, USF, and on-line UOP.

Good luck.

Thank you for your advise, trolldoll. If I go to SFSU,do you know how long it takes?

If you go go SFSU it will take 2 yrs to finished and get your BSN that is, if you have fulfilled the prequisites.

Godspeed

Thank you for your help, trolldoll.Do you know Lainey college?

What do you think about there? They have a good nursing program?I'll probably go to cololege first and then I'll go to university.I heard RN-BSN takes a year and half. Is that wrong infomation? Please write me back again.Thank you.

Never heard of Lainey College. The program for RN to BSN is considered two years; if you go continuously, then you may be able to finish it in about 18 months...........but most are not in a rush to do that, as they can work as RN with the ADN.

Thank you for your reply. Then,do you know Merritt College in bay area? Do you have any recommendation for college if I go to college first. After i finish my education,I would like to work here again. With Associate degree,I can't keep my work visa, right? Please give me some advice again. Thank you for your help.

Merritt College is a great private school, I only heard good things from that college from my co-workers who

graduated from there.

Thank you for your reply, trolldoll.Merritt college is a private school?,so it's going to be expensive? What about city college?Have you ever heard anything about City college?
