LPN to RN in NJ, trying to find a good school

Published

Hi everyone, I'm new to this website and i love it. Its so helpful that all the nurses come together and help each other since they have been there.

I graduated from a nursing program for my LPN about a year ago and have since been working for a hospice, but not in the field. In an office, doing data entry and meds and chart auditing. I am working on trying to find an LPN-RN program I can go to and have narrowed it down to two different ones. Muhlenberg which is in Plainfield, NJ ... or Brookdale Community which is in Lincroft, NJ ... Any advice from someone who is in the program or has been through the program would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hello there i am from jersey as well. How long is the program in Muhlenberg for? Anyway Ive heard of Excelsior online programs. Not really sure on how the program is, ive read mixed reviews about it. If you search around the forums people have mentioned different opinions about that program. Please do share if you have found more bridge programs from our state. i'm also interested.

if you dont mind me asking, what company do you work for. I know one other person who is also an LPN who does data entry/meds/char auditing but she travels from one facility to another. Just curious about that type of position...
