LPN to RN graduating in december

I graduate in december of this year and have been wanting to work in the OR since I shadowing in my LPN. I was just wondering at what time can I start applying for operating room nurse positions? what is the work/life balance like? call? hours?

Hi there! You can probably start applying now- I know that my facility has received applications from December grads for our January orientation. As for work/life balance, call, and hours, there simply isn’t one answer for that as it varies greatly by facility and type of facility.
