LPN to RN or BSN and Job Opportunities?

Published

Hello Nurses,

I am posting on behalf of my wife who is a LPN (3 years) and is looking to transition into RN. So i just have a few questions and would appreciate any feedback as to making the transition the easiest.

-Is it best to do a LPN to RN or LPN to BSN?

-If you have your RN as opposed to BSN, are the job opportunities limited?

-If you are in the South Florida area, do you know of any accredited LPN to BSN programs, aside from Barry - which is $14k per semester - eeeesh

Any info anyone can provide would be appreciated and you are guaranteed GOOD KARMA points, lol.
