I need advice here's my story I'm a licensed LPN however right now it is lapsed here's why when I was a nurse aide and medication aide back in 2005 working at a nursing home I was dating a man who was dating other women at my job I had been constantly harassed well one day me and one of the girls got into an argument so foul language was used but not loud enough for people to hear. Well I resigned from my job and went on with my life not knowing I had been wrote up so I later switched apartments in the same complex I resided in so I never got paperwork til later when I went to nursing school. Well they wouldn't open the case & I got a default judgment and got my nurse aide , Medication aide, and home health aide revoked. The board let me go ahead and take boards and I passed they suspended it the first three months I then took classes and then placed on 2 year probation. So I graduated school in 2006 got my license in 2009 and because no one is willing to hire me with a restricted license I've since been living in poverty I blame myself everyday for my stupid mistake. I later learned my name is on an abuse registry even though it was just words between staff. I let my license lapse last year because I was wore out mentally. I live in the 918 area of Oklahoma is there any advice or any employers that would give me a chance .

Its 2017, just completed nurse refresher, started applying for jobs still no luck. If anyone in the Tulsa Oklahoma and or Muskogee Oklahoma area that knows any employer willing to give me a chance let me know it would be appreciated. I just need supervised practice in a hospital, clinic, office etc. Will not allow me to work in a nursing home or home health because it has to be a RN supervisor.

You can try applying at Forest Hills Rehab Center. I have heard that they are in need of nurses.

EDIT: Nvm I just read the post above. St. Francis in Muskogee may be a good place to try

Have you tried any Nursing homes. I don't know much about Tulsa, but I know many lpn's Work in that area. If all you say is true I hope it gets resolved. Best of luck!

Im running out of options í ½í¸‚

I spoke with someone at Forest Hills in Broken arrow and they said that an RN is required for each shift. They are hiring right now so if you are still looking I would go apply there. You have a good shot of getting on.

Because the incident happend at a nursing home i cant work at nursing home í ½í¸¦

Check out Wagoner Hospital. It's kind of a drive but I Know they hire a lot of supervised nurses.

I DID GET A JOB IN DIALYSIS BUT IT LASTESD THREE MONTHS I WAS SO HUMBLE AND GREATFUL I GOT A CHANCE HOWEVER I'm BACK TO THE OLD DRAWING BOARD ANYONE IN OKLAHOMA KNOW ANY EMPLOYER WHO WILL ACCEPT A LPN ON PROBATION QUARTERLY ASSESSMENTS WITH RN SAME UNIT/SHIFT WITH NO OTHER CLINICAL RESTRICTIONS I CAN'T WORK IN NURSING HOMES GROUP HOMES OR HOME HEALTH I'm VERY PROACTIVE I JUST WANT A CHANCE AND BE STABLE
