LPN Programs in Philadelphia or Delco?

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Published

I am FULL of questions this week!! :(

I live in Delco, not too far from Philly. I can not enter DCCC or CCP's Nursing program due to my lack of pre-req's, AND the exisiting wait list; I would need to wait until FALL 2010 :crying2:

SOOOO....the only options that I have right now (that I can think of), is applying for an LPN program in the area. However, I am worried that those credits will not transfer over once I go back to school for my BSN (want to do the LPN to BSN, or LPN to ADN/ASN to BSN - which ever is cheaper, and quicker). But first things first. What LPN program is Good, does not require any pre-req's, and would also allow me to obtain financial aid?? Full-time/Part-time, does not matter right now, because I will find a way to work that out.

If nothing else, I will become a CNA, and begin working while I wait things out....but I really want to start LPN school ASAP.

I need to get started quickly, but keep being sent back to the drawing board. Please help me out??

There is a school in Folcroft for LPNs. I believe it is called Del. Co. Technical School...I have heard that it is pretty expensive though.. Good Luck!
