LPN Program at NWCC Senatobia and Desoto 2010

Published

Hello Everyone :) I would like some info on the Northwest Community College LPN program at the Senatobia Campus and the Desoto Campus. I live in Memphis but I am planning on commuting. I want to get into either one of this programs, to start on the Fall 2010

I received a letter from the Desoto Campus, I am taking the NET exam today April 21,2010, I know the Senatobia asks for the TEAS.

How much do you have to make in the exams to get in?

Is there an interview or after the exam it is simply a letter of you are in or not?

How many do they accept each class?

Anoyone has some recommendations, experiences to share?

What is the schedule?

How competitive is it really to get in?

Thanks for the input

hey I just sent you a email and posted a pm

I will be there too! 1.30pm

I am on my way up there I will be in the GED ROOM my name is lisa

Now that I took that test I feel so dumb... I got a 813 didnt look at composite scores Lpn dept said they look for scores from 600 too 800 so who knows!

Hey I made a 960 and my composite I believe is a 83 or something like that. I wish they would have given us a copy of the report since we did pay for the exam.

But I am not Mississippi resident so my hopes of getting in are really not that High. I have orientation at TTC Covington and eventually hopefully an interview. So I hope I get in somewhere!

i attend the lpn prg at nwcc desoto in 2007. at the time i attended, we didn't know of a certain score that had to be made on the net......the only info we knew was that they would only accept 30 per year and i assume that they took the top 30 scores. after we took the test we had to wait thereafter for results, these results were not test results but rather acceptance letters into the program and thereafter you had to inform them as to your intent on begining the program and i assume if at that point if you were no longer interested in attending then they would choose the next in-line as far as test scores. the schedule then was mon-fri 8-4; it was challenging however if your were dedicated, there was nothing to it, just lots of studying. they did not at that time give the results but you can request them and they will give them to you. i too communted from memphis to southaven eveyday form aug'07 to july '08. so good luck on your endeavors. :nurse:

any other question (more specific) that i may be able to answer feel free to contact.

Thank you for your response! In our case they allowed us to look at the report so we could see our results but they said they could not give us a copy of the results. This is how I know what I made. Now we just wait for the letters of acceptance. I have no idea when they are supposed to be mailed out.

I am glad that they accepted someone from TN that gives me more hope!.

Yesterday I had an interview with TTC Covington and did alright. I should hear during the first week of June if I get in there or not. Desoto is my first choice since it is closer!
