Depending on your school, you do not need any prereqs for an LPN program however, some requires you to have anatomy and physiology, college math, and or college english and if that was the case then yes they would be the same and if I were you, I wouldnt really take prereqs while in nursing school, you could burn yourself out and nursing school is hectic enough.
I agree 100%. You need manage your time pretty well if you go for it!!! And say bye to your social life! haha

I go to a county college in jersey and the prereqs are not the same. Ive taken public speaking, english comp, math, psyc, and soc so far. For RN i was told that you need several other classes. This semester they threw in english comp 102 because it is required for the RN program. Its always good to take the extra classes if you can. You never know where life will take you so if you do decide to go for RN anytime in the future, you will not need to worry about prereqs and can jump right into the nursing portion.
Good luck :)
