Do you know if most of the nursing homes in NN area have the Baylor program? and if so do they pay more to work just the weekends?

The only one I know with the Baylor Program was Ruxton of Williamsburg....it has a new name now but if yoou look for it in the yellowpages.com it will still come up. I did that shift there and you do get paid a little more ...like 19

I agree with the 1st post, the pay in VA stinks! I thought AZ was bad but AZ actually pays RN's, LPN's great compared to VA. I have a friend here who is a CNA at a hospital and her pay is $8.35/hr. That is just ridiculous. In AZ, I worked at a hospital and CNA's made about $13-$14 after shift diff's, etc. And you can make more in AZ at a fast food restaurant than being a CNA in VA. It is crazy.
