Hi there,

I took the NCLEX-PN last week and passed. I used Davis's Review book and Mosby's. Both came with a disk to practice on the computer to help you get the feel of testing. It's hard to say what the test was like because it'll vary from person to person. I did have a lot of "you have four patients...which should receive priority.." and a lot of patient teaching questions.

Good luck to you,

Christine

Greetings from Florida. Chill out and relax.

The NCLEX exam is just like the tests you took in school. There will be two wrong answers, and two right answers. Choose the best answer. I too, used the Mosby's Review

book, but most of the questions on my test

just seemed to require common sense.

TeeTeeGray,

I too had a lot of triage-type questions. (Here are your pts for the day, which will you check on 1st?...) I found myself just going back to the ABC's - airway, breathing, circulation. Also, don't be surprised if you leave thinking that there is no way on Earth that you passed. All of my friends felt that way (myself included) and we all passed & found jobs right away. I used Lippincott's review book because I had heard that it was the hardest one. It also came w/ a disk. I took the practice tests before reviewing & then just studyed the areas where I came up weak.

Good luck and try not to stress too much!!!
