LPN moving to Tx soon! Advice welcome!

Published

Hey! I am an LPN and am moving to Texas in December. I currently live in Georgia but was wanting to start the process of endorsement soon and was hoping to get some feedback on experiences with this. I also am planning on getting additional IV therapy certification. Has anyone had any experience with that also? Any advice is welcome! Thank you!

Where in Texas do you plan on moving to?

It will be around the Lufkin area.

The process of obtaining a permanent Texas LVN license by endorsement took me about 6 to 7 weeks at the most. I practiced with a temporary Texas LVN license while waiting for my permanent license to be approved.

The temporary license is valid for 120 days and you'll receive it in the mail within ten days of submitting your application for a license by endorsement.

how are things going for you in Texas? I am a Detroit Nurse and I was looking into moving to Texas as a LPN what is the average starting pay for new LPNs in texas?

In which part of Texas do you want to relocate? It's a huge state, so pay rates will vary drastically depending on the city, town or region.
