Hi everyone. I am a new LPN in NYC and I've been looking for a job forever. I wanted to work in a facility but right now they've tightened the ranks, asking only for people with experience; etc. I've been recently offered a job in Private duty nursing and the pay is amazing more than what i'd make fresh out of school anywhere else and I'm grateful and excited.. But I just want to know my prospects?
Will this experience help me at all in my job quest to transfer to a facility? Besides honing my nursing skills[which i look forward to immensely] does it have any other benefit? If anyone could help I would be so grateful.
Thanks
