Published Oct 14, 2005
Hello,
I just received my acceptance letter to the LPN program. I start in January.
I am sooo happy. I look forward to any advice or words of wisdom from all of you experienced LPN's and LPN students.

I am going next week to take admissions tests and if all goes well could start in April/May of 06. I am ready to get going and get my life on the right track. It all seems like what I should have done in the first place, I can't wait!

Congratulations on getting accepted! I will be graduating in December. I discovered some great learning aids several months ago, and I highly recommend to anyone starting to get some. I found Mneumonic(sorry about the spelling) nursing material on ebay. You can find CD's for around $10 or so. It is wonderful for remembering medications and side effects as well as anatomy and physiology. I wish I would have discovered this when I first started because it really does help.
Good luck on your adventure!! And remember to laugh!! Even when you feel like crying:) . Your in for a ride of a lifetime.:)

as you prepare for the test, and right before you take it take a deep breath and say this scripture.
i can do all things through christ which strengthen me.
philippians 4:13
you'll do great if you just put your trust in him.

congratulations!!
you better enjoy any free time you have right now b/c once you start the program it takes most of your time between class and studying to keep up.......make sure you have a good support person to encourage you when you have those moments where you just want to give up......good luck!! :)
