I would suggest that you still aim for the A in the pre-requisites because that program is probably becoming more and more competitive. I would say at this point at least a 3.7 GPA would give you a comfortable lead.

Oh, I wasn't sure...you said you are a nursing student, did you actually get accepted into the LPN or RN program at LaGuardia, yet? Taking the pre-requisites, as I said, the higher the GPA the better. Once in the program, C+, which is a 75, unless things changed is what you would need to pass the class.

I finished the lpn at Lagcc in August of '09 and I got in with a 3.7 gpa but htere were people in my class that had much lower gpas

HI Mich...

I have a question in regards to the LPN program that you finished up. How was the program and was there like a break around December? I"m planning traveling around December so i'm wondering if the program gives you that 2 week break. Also the entrance exam to get into the program when do they give it to you? Do they give it to you like the first day of the program or is it given to you like mid semester. Is it hard and what score do you need? Is it just a passing score? If you fail it can you persist onto the program b/c you got in with a high gpa?

Thanks!
