I am located in calgary AB. I was wondering if new grad LPN can get a job in hospitals right away? Do calgary hospitals hire LPNs?

My first reaction is, this is a joke question. Where did Bow Valley have you do your placements???

Of course, LPNs are hired. Some units are a 50/50 split.

Thanks fiona for replying. Well that is what i heard what u said but some say u need to have at least one year of LTC before u get into hospitals because hospitals like to hire RN first before anything.
