LPN entrance exam

Published

Hi Everybody, I'm currently a CNA and I'm supposed to take the LPN entrance exam on Friday, if I fail this upcoming exam, I have one more try to take the exam again next month, but I'm not to confident that I going to pass this test, because I'm really weak in math, and not all that great in english, my comprehension is okay, but I am going to try my best to ace this test, because I do have fifty dollars to lose because that was for the aplication fee. Well, all I wanted to know is on a scale from 1 to 5, how would you rate the entrance exam?............. 5 being the hardest.

my college uses the psb test as their entrance exam. i found it pretty easy, so i would rate it as a 1.5 or 2.

i bought a study book before test. but then several of my classmates (in the prereq courses) said that the best thing to do is to take the test once, see what exactly it is all about, see in which areas you need improvement, then study and take the test again.

so i did not study at all before my first test, and i got 15 points out of 18 possible.

plus we got points for 2 grades form the prereq courses. i had all a's, so i got 8 additional points. that gave me 23 points. the cut off at our school (to get into the program) is usually around 18 points, so i decided not to take the entrance exam again.
