LPN in CA moving to HI, graduate from foreign school

I am a RN in the Philippines, I also graduated there. I moved to CA in 2015 and challenged the LPN nclex exam (which i passed) rather than RN just so I could land a job faster. Recently, me and my family moved to Hawaii, I am working on getting my LPN CA license endorsed to HI license. The boards in Hawaii said I couldn't get my LPN Ca license endorsed to HI until I get my grades evaluated through Cgfns as I graduated from a foreign school. This is something not written on their website. Did ya'll CA LPNs who graduated from a foreign school went through the same?

P.S: Im gonna try to work out my ETT nclex RN here in Hawaii too but meanwhile had to find an LPN job
