I'd be interested as well. I've heard that not all online college's are recognized, etc. Would love to hear from someone that has gone for RN online.

Well the one I found is through Indiana State. The recruiter in my area is on vacation until the end of the week. So I'll probably see him next week. But, the woman I spoke to said it will take 2-3 years maybe less. It's a self pace program which is good. I'll keep you updated.

I am also an LPN wanting to make that same move to RN. I came very close to signing with an online course but something told me to check with my State Board. Boy, am I glad I did because I was informed that they would accept the schooling if I was able to show that I have work in all fields of nursing in the past few years, which was impossible for me due being a correctional nurse for the past 17 years. I would love to be able to make the move if there was a program online reliable and accepted. Please keep me informed

Look in the Student nursing forums under the Distance Programs and you will find a ton of information about these programs! :)
