Thank you, I would love to have a local show me around!!! I have visited once before, and I loved it, so I'm excited for my new adventure in a brand new city! I don't know anyone in Chicago so I'm starting from scratch, see how soon I can establish a network and figure things out. I'm calling it operation: find friends! I've been passively apartment hunting, and as a soon-to-be broke grad student I'm looking for something cheap in price, but not in quality, if such a thing exists, preferably 700 and below. I found an apartment company in Edgewater that looks good, studios including all utilities for like 800. Any suggestion for other neighborhoods to move to?

Small World, I'm moving to Chicago for the FNP with emergency focus at Loyola from Tacoma, WA.
Check out oak park housing center, http://www.liveinoakpark.com, they are pretty good at finding places for people in oak park, which my understanding is a decent area

Hello all! I'm new to this site, but I'm a nurse living and working in Seattle, and I was accepted into Loyola University Chicago's FNP program beginning Fall semester 2015. I am looking to relocate August 18 or 19.
