@prettymica "I had the same issue. Hope out go to LPN school. The go back and get your RN"
You think that's the better way? Wouldn't I have to wait and get a certain amount of LPN experience in order to bridge into the nursing program? and if that's the case, I thought LPN's were pretty much fazing out? I will definitely look into this, thanks.
Its way to many LPNs in ga to think like that and more graduating daily. That will take a long time and most people require a yr of LPN work and then you can go back and do a bridge program. But while you are working you can finished up those other much need classes that yo don't have. I hopped out and got my LPN and my GPA to near a 3.2. So it is helpful and you can find some really good paying jobs. Put up some affirmations and stay positive, it will work out :)

Hello, I am a nursing student here in Georgia. In my past I've taken anatomy I three times and ended with a C in lecture and lab the third time. I have a GPA of 2.21 in which it may go up a tad bit since I already know that I have an A in history, C in anatomy II lab and a D in anatomy II Lecture at the end of this Fall 2011 semester. I plan to do the lecture over since passing is a C or better.
My question is...with my low GPA, I feel that I need to pursue another career in the medical field, but my heart feels another way knowing the passion I have for my patients. I have been in the medical field for over 10 years and I know this is where I want to be. I am an older fella with a family trying to hold what job I have and it really shows on my grades. Can anybody tell me what should I do at this point? Is there still hope for someone with this GPA?
Thank you,
Pre-Nursing student.
