Hello All!
I'm currently a student at Loyola University - Chicago. As, I have one semester left to go before I graduate, I've been looking into MSN programs across the U.S. and I noticed that you either have to get a GPA of 3.0 or take the GRE. I currently have a GPA of 2.8, so I know it's super low. Is there a chance that I could still get into an MSN program, and how tough would it be with my GPA? Any put would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I recommend you to apply to programs that only consider the last 60 semester units or 90 quarter units, so you can improve your GPA after graduation by taking more classes. Hope it helps you.
Oh okay, thanks! I'll definitely look into programs that just take the last 60 semester units!

I agree with ALXiong. You can also take some fluff classes to boost your GPA and even some at community colleges since most nursing schools don't care where you took your prereqs.

Are you getting your BSN now? Getting work and volunteer experience before you apply could only help your application as well.

I thought the same thing, but I had a GPA 2.95 overall, it was much higher in my nursing courses and I think they took that into consideration, also a lot of program encourage GRE to prove yourself...I will say I did not and I was accepted to a CNM program...good luck
