I decided to create this thread because I noticed it's not much information threads of this program at this school on allnurses.com . Please feel free to share what you would like. I just got accepted to the program I start this May 2023 and I'm currently from California.

Hey, it's been pretty good so far. It's a newer program so there's still some kinks to workout and because it's accelerated, it's a lot of work, but the teachers so far have been nice, the clinicals so far are great, and it's been pretty solid. It's a busy program but there's lots of support.
Just so everyone knows that is looking to come to this program, I want to give a heads up that this program feels very chaotic because no one communicates with each other. There is an unrealistic workload and the program is extremely new. The recruiter did not inform the students how new this program is. They compared this program with the BSN program which is completely different. One good thing is that the professors are very knowledgeable and typically are accommodating and understanding of how stressful this program really is.
@AngelflowersHi Angel! How do you feel about the hybrid aspect of the program? Do you feel it would have been more beneficial to have classes in person? Or do you feel like you have good access to professors for questions and follow-ups? I am thinking about attending in Spring. Thanks!

So it's just not very hybrid. I don't think having lectures online is a negative. In fact, it's nice because most lectures end up recorded and you can go back and relisten, so I don't think the "hybrid" online portion is a problem. It's just that there way more in person than most of us expected. There are long lab hours, long clinical days, in person testing/lecture days etc and they fluctuate. The schedule is highly varied and more than full time, each semester.
@AngelflowersThank you for such a quick response! This was very helpful. Overall, do you like the program? Would you choose it again if you were to apply all over again to schools? Has anyone failed/dropped out? Also any info on pass rates for the NCLEX? Sorry for so many questions LOL. Any responses help. Thank you!

Is there any way to direct message on this platform?
