I got a call last Friday and missed it, but I called back this AM and I got in!

Do you know you called??

Her name was (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME).

Specializes in NICU.

I wonder if they're finished with acceptances at this point. My interview was in July ?

Yea, they are probably done with the 1st round calls. IDK.
Last name starts with B here.

Curious, if anyone received a call with the last name B or near letter B? The Interview was in June.

Suck, ... received no call here ?

I assume if accepted students decide to go somewhere else, the school might call their waiting lists. I think the are  giving the accepted student 10 days tI give $1500 deposit.

how many students are they accepting this year?

I know three people who have received calls but have still yet to receive an email to accept and pay. I assume they are still making calls.

I called up to LSU yesterday, they said they were still on the decision making process. I would like to believe that but I'm not sure I do. It was also mentioned that rejection letters would be sent by mail and not by email.. which is kind of weird

Specializes in CVICU.

I was accepted and have not yet received my follow up email to pay the deposit, it's been five days (however that does include the weekend). It may just be a drawn out process.

That is weird. I'm having a hard time believing they're still in the decision making process, too ?

How many people do y'all know had an interview and didn't get in last year? I haven't heard of any.

One of my coworkers got in and another got on the waitlist but ultimately didn't get off the waitlist.

Well, that's suck.

I think it depends on the waiting list's numbers/placement. I am sure they have some kinda of structure for their waiting list students.
It's like nursing school 101 again LOL.

Wait and wait ...

At this point, just apply different schools I guess... *sad

In the meantime, congratulations for those who got accepted. I am so happy for you all ?
