Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC) ADN FALL 2025

Hello everyone,

I started this forum so that we can keep each other updated on the status of the application for Fall 2025 for LAVC.

Im aware that applications will officially open on April 1st but either what I wanted to start this forum beforehand to ask and answer each other on any topic related to the program:)

This is the program I most want to get into, but they have the latest application, and the other programs give you a deadline to accept their offers—kinda stressful tbh, I wish everyone luck.

Wait so if you accept another program you can't accept theirs too and just turn down the other school?

Hey, I just applied and want to confirm with you guys that the college will invite us to take our TEAS if we haven't taken them yet. I read last year's applicants, and many said they never received an invitation. Just wanted clarification on that part. Best of luck to everyone applying :)

Hi so I'm not completely sure who they chose to take the test I just know they don't reach out to everyone. I decided to play it safe and payed to take the TEAS somewhere else.

I submitted my application today, does anyone know if we need to send our TEAS score now or wait till they email us?

Hi, don't send them yet. In the info session she said to wait until they called you for the scores; till then you send them. Something about now wanting us to unnecessarily waste money on requesting the transcripts.

OK thank you, im so confused with all these schools. I messed up on rio hondo and didn't send it

I totally get it. I planned to apply to about 10 different schools but I ended up applying to only 4 because I couldn't keep track of all the different requirements and dates each school has.

have you heard from the other schools? I applied to a few in my area, Im really trying to avoid going to WCU but I don't have time to wait anymore. It's either I do RN this year, or LVN.

No not yet:(. I applied to GCC but they'll let me know either in May or June, I don't really remember. I also applied to LACC, this school can notify anytime now, and I'm super anxious about it. My last option is LATTC, big that school is a waitlist. This is my first time applying to any nursing school and losing my mind about it. WCU isn't an option for me it's way out of my budget, in prefer going out-of-state. What other schools have you applied to?

I did cerritos pasadena, compton, el camino, citrus (got a rejection letter last week 😞) lavc and GCC and tbh I few more from LA I don't even know if I did them correctly because its so confusing. oh and cypress! wcu is out of my budget too but I feel alot of pressure since im getting older. what out of state programs are you looking at? I thought about that too, we have family in tennesse, I need to do my research but I have a son its harder to relocate. I hope all of us on this forum get into at least one program!
