Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC) ADN Spring 2025

Hello everyone! I didn't see that anyone posted about LAVC Spring 2025 application yet so I wanted to start one. If anyone has any information that they wanna share or questions, we can all update each other on here 😄

I got a phone call from LAVC today to ask if I was still interested and if I was accepted into any other programs, which I said yes to both...then she asked if I could submit my TEAS today and call them back asap. I was fishing if I sent them, will I just be thrown in the lottery bc I basically don't want to spend another $30 on a transcript but she just kept insisting I should send my TEAS.... When I called back after sending them, she said congratulations, we're offering you a spot :) so, I'm assuming the lottery is pulled if anyone wanted to know. She emailed me an acceptance letter right after :)

congrats to everyone! good thing I got into another program or else it would be a head scratcher because ELAC, LACC nor LAVC reached out to me whether to give me an acceptance or denial. It's just weird.

Yes, it's nerve wracking! I got into COC but was waiting for GCC, which was a no. I never heard back from PCC either one way or another but I'm so grateful I got into LAVC bc COC was a 30 min drive away 😞

Congrats everyone!! Does anybody who got a call from LAVC know or did admissions happen to mention any details about the timeframe as to which they'll be sending out acceptances until? I'm wondering if I didn't hear back from them yesterday, if it's safe to assume I was not accepted? (Other than a potential alternate offer later on) Thanks!

I called last week and they said wait until Dec. 15.

I also havent gotten a call or email from them but I got in another ADN program so im content 😄

Did you guys receive an email confirmation when you submitted your application for ADN?

Thank you! The first and last email I received from the school is the prerequisites evaluation.

same here. I just got lucky because I answered that call which I don't usually do. so keep a look out for an 818 number
