Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC) ADN Spring 2023

Hi all, 

I wanted to start this forum so that we can keep each other updated on the status of the application for Spring 2023 for LAVC. 

 

Has anyone else applied yet? I just submitted my application. This is my 3rd time applying crossing my fingers that I get into the program this time around.

Welcome! I suggest you take your TEAS asap. Once they ask for the result they would want to receive it right away! Good luck, you got this!

Yes they accept the online proctored. If they invite you to take it you will not have to pay for it which was over $100 atleast when I took mine.

Yes, proctored will be your best bet since Covid still has a lot of places closed. I also took the proctored test.

If anyone has applied here before and been invited to take the TEAS... do they call or email you? Also, around what time do they reach out?

About to take the TEAS online this Monday and I’m nervous! After reviewing, it’s concerning how I forgot some of the basics! Anyone heard of anything yet from LAVC?

Update: still waiting to hear from LAVC. Finished my TEAS online today and got a 77.3 which I feel really really bad about. I know that the minimum is 68% I think, but it’s still not a competitive score.

Well for LAVC it’s lottery base so they don’t take that inconsideration. LA HARBOR , Moorpark, COC, La County Nursing, Pasadena City and East La do the point system. Good luck!

Thank you! They called me and asked for the TEAS result. I sent it, and they just informed me over the phone. Good luck! ?
