Hey all,

I haven't seen a forum for the LASC Fall 2022 ADN cohort yet, so I decided to create one! Good luck to everyone that applied!

No I don’t know ?  this is my first time applying how about you Guys? 

Do they go off points ? Anyone here has the CNA certificate ?

I haven't received anything ? was it for to your LACCD email? I called earlier today and she told me some batch when out today of emails to keep waiting. Congrats to everyone that got the email today passing to the next phase! ?

Yes, I have my CNA. I also applied for this last Spring. 
As for selection, I believe it’s a random lottery.

I got the email as well. The next phase is lottery....:((

I just received an email saying my application is going to the next phase as well. I applied last semester and never received this email. Months later I just got the denial email so this caught me by surprise. Do they send this email to everyone that qualifies?

Hey Jenni, 

     I, too, applied for the previous cohort. I never received the recent email either. The only email I got was the denial letter. What’s interesting is that I’m just as qualified as I was when I last applied. Nothing really changed on my application nor grades except for the fact that I repeated 2 science classes for recency (to qualify for other programs). 
     And yes, they send the email to everyone that is qualified—meets minimum qualifications. From there, take it that the “lottery” be drawn from those of us who received the most recent email.

Same! I am just as qualified as I was last semester so I find that to be really odd. I checked the previous semesters posts and people got an email back then saying they will be advanced to the next phase of the application process, even though I never did. So IDK LOL we just wait and see I guess. But luckily it says we’ll find out by the end of this month so not too much waiting!
