LOS ANGELES SOUTHWEST ADN FALL 2024

Hi everyone, I wanted to make a forum for anyone who applied to LA Southwest College FALL 2024. I still haven't heard back but any information you guys could share would be helpful. Please don't share/spread false information since some of us are actually waiting to get a response. Nursing Students School Programs

Hi I also applied !  Submitted my application Feb 13

I did apply here and LACC, LAHC  for the ADN  and for APU Summer , MSMU fall 2024 I AM Determined  To getting into a nursing program this year!!

I think because of commute this would be my #1 school. Hopefully we hear soon may the odds be in our favor

Hopefully we hear soon, from what I read from previous years is that they send us emails during April. Also for the LACC application, do you know if we have to attend the information session before we submit the application ? Or can we submit the application and then attend the info session ?

Yes you have to attend a session. It was pretty fast and I like how you have to see their power point and answer questions in order to get your name on the attendees list. The application just opened yesterday for them.

OK thanks! I was also confused about the official transcript part. Do we have to submit the official transcript now or when we get accepted to the program? 

On the power point it mentions,

"Upload unofficial college transcripts from EVERY college attended, even within LACC and the LACCD district , Send official college transcripts to Admission and Records"

Hey guys this is my second time applying here, last time I was picked as an alternate but didn't get accepted. I also applied to Trade Tech, Citrus, Cypress, Cerritos, and Mt.Sac for Fall 2024.

A: When submitting the application online, you can upload unofficial transcripts. If selected, to start our program, official transcripts will need to be submitted. 

 

 

The only official transcripts will me the TEAS before the closing application time.

I got accepted into APU Summer 2024 LVN TO BSN PROGRAM but im anxiously waiting for Southwest response🤞🏼 the commute would be so much easier.

Will the acceptance/ rejection email come in April or May? I don't like waiting LOL.
