I got both Rio and MT.SAC offer. I chose Mt.SAC, even though RHC is only 10 minutes away from me, Mt. Sac is 25 minutes away. I took all my pre-rec at MT.sac, but I never went to RHC. So I drove to RHC the day I got my offer, and I felt I did the right thing. I stay at RHC for one hour, went to the science building, student center, admin building, then find out I prefer MT.SAC campus vibe. Regarding the passing rate, considering the following things: COVID, if the school kick out lots of student on purpose ( so the passing rate is kept high), total number of students that take the NCLEX each year ( for public school, the more students they can admit each year, means the better the school, cause they have enough funds/recourses/professors).

I accepted other program instead of ELAC.

On rio hondo website search sample ADN education plan, there are class ADN 151 clinical nursing concept and AND 151 Lab during Summer session. Also on the ADN Application information page, under the 2nd step it says: "AFTER APPLYING: REQUIRED – by permission from the Health Science and Nursing Division only. Students who are accepted to the program will be admitted to ADN151 and ADN 151L. Successful completion of this course is a prerequisite for admission to the Associate Degree Nursing Program 1stsemester.” Btw, do u know when the orientation will be? I only saw dead line for the physical forms and background check.

My counselor said the admission letters should be sent out on 5/7, so tomorrow we may get results.

I just received it. I also want to know what will be included in the zoom meeting.

not sure, but I already saw at least 7-8 ppl get alternate offer in this thread .

What?! I went to application workshop last year, I thought the lottery was just for TEAS selection. Now I start to doubt my memory.LOL

Thank you! You are right, even we passed the counselor meeting, the nursing office is the one who makes final decisions. I'll keep alternate slot until I see MT SAC offer.

I got the alternate position from other school, they request to reply by end of April. Should I accept it? My 1st choice is Mt. SAC, but counselor said Mt. Sac offer should come out on 2nd week of May.

Congrats! I think it won't affect us, since it's an alternate position? I'm not sure if I should accept it, I want to see my other school results .

My own calculation was around 80? I didn't remember exact number. TEAS was 85%
