Hi fellow future nurses. I applied to LAHC ADN program and want to meet other who applied. I'm going crazy waiting on a hear back. Does anyone know when they will be sending teas invites?

for intro to nursing and dosage calculations, yes. but for lifespan psychology and medical terminology, those 2 can be taken anywhere. my nursing counselor said the school has not decided if those 2 new requirements will need to be taken only at el camino just yet. so for the meantime, they can be taken at any college. if a student gets provisionally accepted into the spring 2019 cohort, those 2 classes need to be completed before the program starts, or else they will not allow the student to enter/start the program in january/february 2019.

They want you to at least try and enroll in the two classes (Lifespan/med term) but it's not necessarily required this semester. But next application period you have to have them.

my friend and i stopped by the office after our pharmacology class on Thursday and was told to expect something towards the end of the month. the teas is scheduled for November 2 and 9, but the gentleman said that most likely the November 2nd date will be pushed closer to November 7th or 8th.

yes i am a harbor student. i have heard that the teachers and clinical instructors are very helpful and really want you to succeed. i also heard that it is a hard program, but im sure any nursing program is pretty difficult.

hi everybody! i just called the nursing department and the student working the desk said that they are waiting on admissions to verify everyone's transcripts. she sounded like she was unsure of what she was talking about, so i will follow up with the gentleman in charge of the applications after my pharmacology class on Thursday.
