@hnguyen509 -- i recommend you study for the english, reading, and math part. theres some examples online. but the science part is really random, either you know it or you dont.

does anyone know how to send the teas score that i took from another school to harbor? it says that we have to send it directly to an email right?

I contacted ATI by phone and asked them for the email they had listed for harbor if I was to order my transcripts online for $25.00. The email address they gave me matched the exact email address that came from Toni Thompson. I hope we get in CSULBAngel.

For those going for LAHC Spring 2012 - I am just finsihing the Fall 2011 classes -

SO I'm one semester ahead of you:

- Be patient after the TEAS, the rest happens quickly

- min TEAS V for my class was 62.

then there is another Lottery.

- Brush up on Word and maybe Excel, have a good computer and printer ready for the work,

- simplify your life as much as possible, if you have a Significant other and/or kids, start having them

do more on their own. Spend time with them now,but get them used to seeing you hit the books,

and leaving you alone.

- Simplify your Hair and makeup - get used to doing & wearing less.

- see if you can get along without a purse - just keys and some $ -

- Fix a place in your car for books, water and storing the things you don't use every day

- don't over buy on supplies,get a inexpensive $ 20.00 stethoscope,

- but do invest in good shoes for clinical

My best guess is that there are so many spots, and many many applicants- Just another way to Weed out those who aren"t a good fit for this school -

Have you applied to more than one school? IT always good to have a backup plan.

I received an acceptance letter for the first lottery a few weeks back, sent over my passing ati scores, and then today I heard people received official acceptance letters. I did not get an email at all. I am fearful for what this means, but still holding out hope. Does anybody have any insight?

Don't lose hope. You may get an email. I will be declining my seat at LAHC for spring 2012. I hope it goes to you.

Thanks for responding. That almost made me cry, as you can see I'm in an emotional state I just have been trying at this for so long. Second lottos really mess with your head! No news is good news? I'm going to go with that for now... it makes me feel better. Why will you be declining?

LAHC was my back up plan. Living in north Hollywood would be a struggle to commute to the south bay. I was accepted to LAVC a couple weeks ago and have confirmed my seat with them. Good luck and I seriously hope my seat goes to you! You should call them on Monday.

Last Thursday I got a call that I was picked for the 1st lottery, so the lady told me to send my ATI score. I sent my score, and the lady told me that I should be getting a response in 7-10 days. Today I called again about the acceptance letters, and she said that I was actually picked as an alternate? I would know by the end of this week whether I got in or not. Anybody else an alternate for LA Harbor?
