Sorry to hear about that. Yeah I too got rejected from Glendale, still waiting to hear from Rio hondo, Pasadena, and County. I hope I get in somewhere!! Gemeneye did u calculate your total points? Last semester cut off was 71, but I think a lot more people have applied so that may make it more competitive. Well lets see if we all get in hopefully we all do!!

hey dcel and gemeneye have you guys heard anything from PCC?? i haven't got anything in the mail from them. I am just wondering?? I hope I get in somewhere!!! Well I see we are all waiting to hear from county. I hope we all get in. I only have a total of 80 points and this only seems average.

PCC said end of May-June, the same as LA County. The waiting is really torture, it's giving me a lot of anxiety! The person I talked to at County said there were no more applicants than usual so I don't know why they aren't sending letters May 15 like their brochure says.

May 15 wow. The letter I recieved with my entrance exam results states that letters will be sent beginning June 1, 2009. I need to know especially since I will be going on vacation from june 10 till the 15. UHH I don't want to get a letter then and be out of town especially since they give a deadline. What should I do??? Also, who do you call to ask questions? If you can may I please have the number. Thank you so much!!!

the number is on their site. It really sucks that they make you wait so long and then only give you like a week to respond. Have you heard anything about how hard it is to get into PCC?

No, I haven't heard anything about how hard it is to get into PCC a friend of mine told me his gf got into everyschool she applied to and she applied to like 9. but she choose County. She had a 4.0 i don't have anything close to that, but i did well in my science classes. thanks for replying. The waiting is torture!!

You have to live or either work in Los Angeles County to apply. It is a strange criteria but that is specified in the application.

it says bonus points. how can you get 93 points? unless you are GOD! you have to be resident or citizen to apply

You must be a resident of Los Angeles to apply, that has nothing to do with bonus points. You get one bonus point if you work for

the County of Los Angeles. You can get 93 points by getting all A's, passing test on 1st try, and meeting requirements for the 3 bonus points.

ya don't worry it is pretty tough to get all 93 points. My friends gf last year had a total of 92!! crazy right??! well she's in the program now and she says its really tough but enjoys it a whole lot. she said the first month all she did was cry! WEll i pray that my 80 points is enough to get me in the door!! Im still waiting and june 1 is in a few more days!! i hope they don't take long and do send things out beginning june 1 like they said. well good luck to everyone!!
