Hey starting this topic since I haven't seen any. Does any one have info on when they are sending out emails or letter on acceptance. I just got my email from Glendale and I didn't get in, they do lottery and unfortunately I wasn't lucky for this one. Hoping to get into LACC. GOOD LUCK everyone!

I got accepted into LACC's nursing program for spring 2018.
I received a call earlier today confirming my acceptance! :)
Congratulations! and best of luck! I wonder if they made all their calls today. My last hope is LAHC!! I got into MSMU but that's my last choice.
Question did you ever receive any emails from them?
Thank you! My 1st choice was LACC so I am very happy with the outcome :)
No, I did not receive any emails from them. The person on the phone said that I would receive something in the mail with further instructions.

Hi everyone, so i have a dilemma, I was accepted to LACC for Spring 2018 but I might have to turn it down. Here's the thing, I'm married and have two kids (8 & 6) and we are not financially ready to downsize to a one income family. I knew this was my end goal but when I was accepted, reality hit. I'm not sure what type of help is out there regarding financial aid. I did apply for financial aid but I do not qualify. Any advise would help. thanks
Yea thats hard. When you enter the program you have to be financially prepared and supported. I know some that were working during the program and they were struggling. Its really up to you if you can work and do the program. Are you able to work part time at least? Maybe you should save money, prepare yourself and then apply again. Its tough girl, if you do decide to stay and work, just tell your husband he needs your full support at home. Organize a schedule where you know what days you have free and will study those days. Im going to MSMU. and our first spring session we only take 2 courses. Mon and Wed. So I love that I can still work. I also have a 2 year old. But lets see if things get hard I definitely will be dropping work. Good luck to whatever path you choose. Dont worry about timing, if you need to wait a year to apply then wait a year. No rush hun! best of luck!!!
