Los Angeles City College of Nursing and Allied Health Spring 2022

Wanted to make a new discussions since fall 2021 admissions were cancelled. Anyone else applying this year for Spring 2022? I don't know how many points I have since I am taking the TEAS later this month. How many points do you guys expect to have? How many applicants usually apply? Good luck everyone!

I just found out that LA. County college of nursing and allied health's nursing program has no accreditation though the school got it. Is it matter later? Also, their on-time completion rate is so low around 50-60%. Has anyone heard why it is?

the school is accredited like other colleges. The program isn't CCNE accredited because its a ADN program. CCNE is for BSN and MSN programs.

Thank you for clarifying:) I was confused. But still, I am worried about their on-time completion rate. Does it indicate that students dropped out or kicked out a lot?

no, but I called on the last day to apply for the program to verify my points and classes, but they said they're gonna look through the applications then we have a chance to verify everything, then we get notified of interviews. Maybe September/august but not 100%

Now it's a waiting game. Does any one know whether we will have an interview for Spring cohort? TBH, I do not want an interview since I am not good at performing myself in a short time. I heard about it was cancelled last time but not sure this time.

I emailed them and they confirmed that there will still be interviews this year. I wasn't given a date, just that it will be before October 1st :(. 

I also wasn't told if there was anything we needed to prepare for them.

Did you get an email about interviews yet? did they say when they would start notifying students? Good luck to you too!

I didn't get anything, I just emailed them to ask when they would send them and I was told they don't have a date, just that it would be before October 1st
