Hello just wanted to make a forum for anyone applying to LACC. I just seen they posted Nursing Info Sessions and seen they are accepting applications on September 13th. I will be attending the info session AND applying on the 13th.

Anyone knows the chance of getting into the program once you’re invited to join the orientation as an alternate??

Hi, 

I was an alternate too but I didn't get my hopes up because of how competitive it is. I have not heard back regarding the need for alternates so I'm assuming there's no need for alternates. Has anyone heard or received a letter?

Hi do any of you guys know the minimum stats to get in the program? I know they have a cut score but not sure how it’s calculated.

Hi! So it's true that their cut score and cut scores in general are confusing because they are not always clearly explained. I heard that the last few application cycles pretty much all applications were eligible and therefore met the cut score. So at this point, it is just a matter of "lottery" but I am suspicious that "lottery" is not really what it seems. Why would they ask us to write a personal statement then? Ya see where I am coming from? I think this "lottery" is more of a selection process than it is a random selection of an applicant. Good luck!

Were any of you guys able to get into the program last year? I’m applying for Spring 2023 and I was wondering how were your stats? I have an 82%TEAS and 3.0 GPA ? I’m  just anxious to find out if I have a chance of making it to the cut score they have.

Noticed that LACC doesn't  have a thread for the Spring 2025 ADN program.  I did get the acceptance letters for the school  but I was offered an alternative admission form. I received  this November 29.  I'm keeping  my fingers crossed.

I was denied because they said I was ineligible. but on the following reasons check box, nothing was checked. emailed the nursing dept sr. office asst twice to clarify.....CRICKETS.

You should  try to contact them again. Give it at least three follow ups.

no need. I got into a program already. I just want clarification because its unintelligent to say I am ineligible and not mark any reason....because all the reasons doesn't apply to me. they are just throwing decisions there. just tell me I'm not selected and move on.

This is concerning! Well congratulations on getting  accepted.  What program  did you get into?

got lucky and got accepted at PCC LVN to RN bridge. hopefully end of next year, I am done. you'll get into 1. I sent 15 applications out, only 2 accepted me. It's depressing but getting accepted is all that matters. did you get into 1 yet?
